Merge Shop Beginner Guide

Merge Shop is about making the right item for the right customer without running out of board space or energy.

First 10 Minutes

  1. Check the current customer order before tapping generators.
  2. Use the generator that matches the item family you need.
  3. Merge pairs toward the requested item instead of making every chain at once.
  4. Claim daily rewards if they are available.
  5. Keep at least a few empty board spaces so new items do not trap your chain.

Merge Shop Gameplay: Board, Orders, Energy

Use this gameplay section to see how orders, energy, and board space collide during a normal Merge Shop run.

02:17 - Energy and order pressure

The board has several item families open while the energy counter is visible. This is the moment to slow down and make the order item instead of tapping every generator.

02:50 - Merge toward the order

The game shows a requested food item and a merge level hint. For players, the useful move is to merge pairs toward the requested item, not chase every chain at once.

03:53 - Generator progression

The video moves into generator progression. Treat this as a reminder to check which generator makes the item family your customer wants.

Board Space Management

Board space is one of the easiest things to lose. Keep chains grouped by item family, merge duplicates quickly, and avoid starting long chains that do not match an order.

If you are aiming for a high-level item, check Merge Chains first so you know how many base items it takes.

Energy Usage

Energy matters because generators create the base items you need. Spend energy on the generator tied to your current order, then pause and merge before tapping more.

The Generators page shows which generator creates each item type.

When to Sell vs Hold

Sell or submit items when they complete an order or clear space for the next chain. Hold items when they are close to a customer target or belong to a chain you are actively building.

Avoid selling everything instantly. A few useful mid-level items can save energy when a matching order appears.

Common Beginner Mistakes

  • Making random high-level items before checking orders.
  • Filling the board with low-level items and leaving no merge space.
  • Using the wrong generator for the item family you need.
  • Ignoring daily rewards before a longer play session.
